The Dental Implants Dentist in Ft. Lauderdale: Introduction

Dental Implants Dentist Ft. LauderdaleYou have one set of permanent adult teeth. Unfortunately few people truly understand how precious a gift this is and how just a few decades of over-indulgence and sheer negligence can leave you with a deteriorating standard of oral health, as well as a few noticeable gaps in your smile. However, you don’t have to shun brushing your teeth to lose them. Many people have lost one or more of their adult teeth to accidental trauma, which could be something as serious as a car accident, or as innocuous as crunching down on an olive pit. But, whether the reasons behind your tooth loss are embarrassing or not, your very next course of action should be to arrange an appointment with the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale. Leaving a lost tooth without replacement has serious ramifications, not only for your smile aesthetics, but for your overall oral health as well…

Advice from the Dental Implants Dentist: The Importance of Replacing Missing Teeth

According to the dental implants dentist, the most immediate concern for most patients is getting their smile restored when one or more teeth go missing or become irreparably damaged. After all, there is nothing more distracting than a big gap or two in someone’s smile! While dental implants in Ft. Lauderdale offer a comprehensive and long term solution to single and multiple missing teeth, many patients avoid seeking the treatment they need. And according to the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale, restoring one’s aesthetic appearance is perhaps the least important of all the priorities when it comes to missing teeth:

  • Dental Implants in Ft. Lauderdale: Preventing Jaw Bone Atrophy ~ Through the transmission of the mechanical forces associated with eating and chewing, the tooth roots provide an important source of stimulation to the underlying bone tissue. When this is lost, the tissue atrophies and wastes away, says the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale; resulting in a loss of bone volume. This has a serious impact upon the stability and health of the neighboring teeth and can result in further tooth loss and infection. Dental implants in Ft. Lauderdale replace the entire missing tooth, from the root to the crown, which keeps the underlying hard tissue alive and healthy, preventing atrophy.Dental Implants Ft. Lauderdale
  • Dental Implants in Ft. Lauderdale: Preventing Dental Instability ~ Each tooth in your mouth relies on the next for support and stability, says the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale. One missing tooth and your entire dental arch can become unstable, just like a set of dominoes. This also increases a patient’s risk of infection. By filling the gap left by the missing tooth crown, dental implants in Ft. Lauderdale restore stability and health to the oral cavity.
  • Dental Implants in Ft. Lauderdale: Reducing the Risk of Infection ~ According to the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale, it just takes a single missing tooth to provide an excellent opportunity for bacteria to gain a foothold in the mouth. The exposed flesh of the exposed tooth socket affords bacteria the perfect place to proliferate and the accumulation of debris within this socket can result in infection. By seeking the immediate attention of the dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale, measures can be taken to greatly reduce the risk of infection.

A Final Note from the Dental Implants Dentist

For all these reasons and more, it is of vital importance that you never ignore a missing tooth, even if it is right at the back of your mouth where no one can really see it. Just one lost tooth can have a devastating effect upon your oral health, says this qualified and experienced dental implants dentist in Ft. Lauderdale; and one that could have easily been avoided with some timely preventative care.

This article, part 2 of 4, takes a comprehensive look at the benefits of dental implants as a tooth replacement solution over traditional removable dentures.

In our previous article post, this Pueblo dentist began discussing how dental implants offer a superior tooth replacement solution to traditional removable dentures; an archaic dental technology. The first point covered was bite functionality, with dental implants making it possible for patients to bite down with a far stronger force, thus enabling them to eat all the foods they love and need to remain strong and healthy. It was also mentioned that dental implants allow for a much more comfortable and natural-feeling bite. In this article, the second instalment of a four-part series, the Pueblo dentist will move on to discuss the benefits afforded by dental implants as far as oral comfort and costs are concerned.

Dental Implants Versus Removable Dentures: Oral Comfort

One of the biggest problems with removable dentures, says the Pueblo dentist, is that they rely upon the gums and the underlying jaw bone ridge for support and stability. This means that every time you bite down, the associated forces that would traditionally be transmitted to the jaw bone are instead transmitted to the gums. Now, as you may imagine, this soft tissue was not ever meant to withstand the forces associated with chewing and as a result – especially if the removable dentures are loose-fitting – eating can become acutely uncomfortable, says the Pueblo dentist. The gums can become chronically inflamed and sore making eating an exercise in pain tolerance rather than pleasure! Dental implants, on the other hand, rely directly upon the jaw bone for support, just like your natural teeth once used to. So, eating feels completely natural and the gums are left healthy and without constant irritation.

Another factor to consider when discussing oral comfort, says the Pueblo dentist, is self-confidence. Eating and speaking with removable dentures can cause acute social embarrassment, especially if they are loose-fitting and move around a lot. Having to take them out to clean them is yet another reason patients feel uncomfortable about having a removable tooth replacement solution. Because dental implants function, feel and look just like natural teeth, patients feel far more comfortable and self-confident, in both a professional and social environment, says the Pueblo dentist. This makes dental implants a far more sophisticated teeth replacement solution as far as oral comfort is concerned!

Dental Implants Versus Removable Dentures: Costs

The fact that dental implants can work out to be less expensive than removable dentures can be surprising to many, says the Pueblo dentist. After all, the primary reason people opt for false teeth in the first place is because they think it offers a cheaper tooth replacement solution. But if you consider the repeated expenses involved in wearing removable dentures, as well as the toll they take on one’s quality of life, dental implants indeed work out to be a smarter and far more beneficial investment. Dentures, says the Pueblo dentist, incur the costs of the following repeated expenses:
  • Aesthetic gels for the pain and discomfort associated with eating and ill-fitting dentures,
  • Adhesives to prevent dentures from slipping and shifting around,
  • Cleaning agents, accessories and storage containers,
  • The need for expensive refitting every few years or so as the bone tissue in the jaw atrophies and wastes away, says the Pueblo dentist.

Dental implants offer a comprehensive and long term tooth replacement solution; one that can last as many as 20, 30 and more years; very seldom with the need for restorative work. In other words, says the Pueblo dentist, they offer patients a one-time solution requiring a one-time investment.

The Pueblo Dentist on Dental Implants: Stay Tuned

In our next article instalment of this four-part series, the Pueblo dentist shall be taking a look at how dental implants offer patients a tooth replacement solution that is far more aesthetically pleasing

This article highlights the key difference between specialists and general dentists and the importance of choosing the former when it comes to the placement of dental implants.

When it comes to replacing teeth with dental implants, many people face the conundrum: your local dentist or the oral surgeon in Chicago Loop? This dilemma arises out of the inescapable fact that the services provided by dental specialists are more expensive than that offered by general dentists. Since money (or a lack thereof) is the primary driving force behind just about all of our decisions, it would seem as though this one is a fairly obvious choice. If one or more of your pearly whites need replacement, then why pay more for an oral surgeon in Chicago Loop when your general dentist offers dental implants? Well, there is a very important reason why and it all comes down to what you are paying for…
The Oral Surgeon in Chicago Loop: What Sets Him Apart

In the context of this article, the oral surgeon in Chicago Loop has – in addition to a general dental degree, a medical degree and six years of additional training in anesthesia and dental implants – advanced tertiary-level and continued education that makes him a definitively better qualified individual in the placement of dental implants . While money may seem to be the most important consideration in our day-to-day decisions, there are many other factors that heavily influence the people we ultimately choose to employ. For example… if your car needs fixing, would you take it to an experienced mechanic who has the necessary qualifications? Or would you rather take it to your neighbor’s son, who has an affinity for motors, and could perhaps tinker around and find out what’s wrong for less money. When it comes to your car and the importance it holds in your life as your primary mode of transportation, you don’t want to mess around. You want it fixed by capable hands so that you can be sure that you are getting optimal and long-lasting results.

Now, this analogy by no means compares the local dentist to the inexperienced and uneducated boy-next-door! But it does highlight the importance of putting your oral health – a gift that you should never compromise – in the hands of this dual-degreed oral surgeon in Chicago Loop; an individual who has the advanced education and many years of experience necessary to provide effective and long-term results. Those additional letters at the end of his title are not decoration… they are there for a reason. Years of hard study and toil at the sides of incredibly experienced oral surgeons have made this professional a far better option when facing the need for dental implants.
The Oral Surgeon in Chicago Loop: The Decisions You Make

“I know that the oral surgeon in Chicago Loop will probably provide me with better results, but I simply don’t have the financial luxury of being choosy.” This attitude is completely understandable. Medical insurance companies rarely cover dental implants, which in themselves do not have a reputation for being cheap. However, don’t give up just yet… this oral surgeon in Chicago Loop offers highly competitive rates as well as financing plans that will help you to cover the costs of your surgery and all included services. In fact, his fees are actually the same as what a general dentist would charge! At the end of the day, your oral health is something that should never be compromised on. The oral surgeon in Chicago Loop will not only provide you with far more successful tooth replacement solutions, but he will also be able to smoothly handle any complications should they arise.

This article describes the long and short-term benefits and advantages of dental implants as a solution to single and multiple missing teeth.

One of the greatest misconceptions abound is that the cost of dental implants is prohibitively high. First of all, the cost of dental implants is far from prohibitive and while this sophisticated tooth replacement technology may require a greater initial investment than traditional methods, such a dental bridges and removable dentures, there are several very important reasons for this. The cost of dental implants, explains qualified and experienced implant dentist Dr. Wayne Brueggen, buys you the very best technology available for the replacement of single and multiple missing teeth. This solution is one that is virtually indistinguishable in aesthetics and function from natural teeth and one that boasts a lifespan of 20, 30 years and even more if cared for properly. In order to fully appreciate the cost of dental implants and why it is that the initial price tag may seem higher than more traditional solutions to missing teeth, let’s take a look at the benefits and advantages afforded by this sophisticated technology.

Cost dental implants

Understanding the Cost of Dental Implants

When making as important investment as the cost of dental implants, it always helps to understand exactly what you’re paying for. Dental implants offer the very best, most sophisticated and long term solution to single and multiple missing teeth.

The Cost of Dental Implants: Flawless Smile Aesthetics

The artificial crowns fitted to the abutments or ‘collars’ of dental implants are skillfully fabricated from the highest quality ceramic material to be virtually indistinguishable from any natural healthy tooth. Furthermore, not only is the color of the crown custom blended to closely match that of your neighboring teeth, but the material from which it is made mimics the optical properties of natural dental enamel, so not even your close friends and family will be able to tell the difference.

The Cost of Dental Implants: Fully Restored Bite Functionality

The cost of dental implants also gets you a replacement tooth or teeth that enable you to eat all the foods you love but previously couldn’t manage or fully enjoy with missing teeth or inferior dental technology. With traditional solutions, such as dental bridges and dentures, patients tend to be careful about what they eat and the strength with which they bite down. This can prevent them from fully enjoying their food and due to functional impairments, eating difficulties and self-consciousness, can also result in malnutrition! By covering the cost of dental implants, you can bite into that delicious steak without worrying or feeling self-conscious.

The Cost of Dental Implants: Long-Term Solution

Dental implants last substantially longer than traditional tooth replacement technologies. In fact, they boast a lifetime of 20, 30 years and even longer if cared for properly! Just by covering the cost of dental implants today, you get to receive a sophisticated and long-term solution to your oral problems; and one that very rarely requires future attention or restoration.

The Cost of Dental Implants: Oral Comfort and Self-Confidence

Dental implants do not in any way damage or compromise the surrounding hard or soft tissue in the mouth. Because they replace the entire tooth, from the root to the crown, they do not feel like a foreign object, which reduces self-awareness and physical and psychological discomfort.

A Final Note on the Cost of Dental Implants

When you look for a tooth replacement solution, do you want something permanent, aesthetic, functional and comfortable? Something that restores your smile to its original natural beauty? If so, then the cost of dental implants is a smart investment for you. In fact, says Dr. Wayne Brueggen, it is a smart investment for anyone that is missing one, several or even all of their adult teeth!

Dr. Wayne Brueggen

Welcome back to our four-part article series on All on Four implants in Houston, courtesy of qualified and experienced implant dentist, Dr. Wayne Brueggen. In our previous article post, we began looking at some of the benefits offered by All on Four implants over and above that archaic too_TMth replacement technology; partial and full removable dentures. In this, the second installment of the series, we shall take an in-depth look at the cosmetic benefits and advantages afforded by All on Four implants in Houston: the sophisticated and unrivalled solution to rampant tooth loss and edentulism (not having a single original adult tooth left).

The Cosmetic Benefits of All on Four Implants in Houston

Even a single missing tooth can have a devastating effect upon one’s ability to smile with confidence. And the smile is one of the most important physical assets we as human beings have! So just imagine what rampant tooth loss as a result of decay and periodontal (gum) disease can do to one’s self-esteem! Perhaps you know all too well what it feels like to struggle with the ceaseless challenges associated with being edentulous. All on Four implantsin Houston offer fantastic cosmetic solutions to multiple missing teeth and total tooth loss. And these solutions go beyond the short term to ensure that patients are able to retain their youthful facial contours.

  • All on Four Implants in Houston: The Exceptional Results Achieved

The prosthetic dental bridge that is affixed to the All on Four implants is carefully and expertly fabricated to be virtually indistinguishable from a complete set of natural teeth. No matter how broad your smile, those around you simply won’t be able to tell the difference between your new, beautiful teeth and a full set of natural, healthy pearly whites.

  • All on Four Implants in Houston: A Perfect Fit for a Natural Appearance

Removable dentures, as the name suggests, are not All on 4 implants Houstonfixed in the mouth and so rely upon their bulkiness and fit in order to not shift around or fall out. The peripheral regions of additional mass, known as flanges, help to stabilize dentures in the mouth, but they also press on the lips from inside the mouth. This makes the lips look thin and stretched, which has an aging effect upon the face. All on Four implants in Houstonare used to ‘anchor’ a non-removable prosthetic dental bridge in the mouth. Thanks to the support provided by dental implants, additional bulk isn’t necessary to prevent the bridge from slipping or falling out. Consequently, the results achieved look far more natural and beautiful and feel far more comfortable!

  • All on Four Implants in Houston: The Preservation of Youthful Facial Contours

All on Four implants play an integral role in keeping the underlying jaw bone stimulated and alive; something that removable dentures simply can’t achieve. By keeping the jaw bone healthy, a patient’s natural facial contours can remain strong and youthful for years and even decades. This, however, does hinge upon a patient seeking prompt treatment for multiple missing teeth and tooth loss. The longer you avoid having All on Four implants placed, the more advanced the bone loss in the jaw becomes and the more affected your cosmetic appearance will become.

In our previous article post, qualified and experienced implant dentist, Dr. Wayne Brueggen, discussed the various cosmetic benefits and advantages afforded by All on 4 dental implants. In this, the third installment of our four-part article series, we shall be taking a look at the functional benefits made possible by All on 4 dental implants in Houston, as well as its unprecedented treatment time as compared with traditional implant techniques and protocol.

All on 4 Dental Implants in Houston: Functional Benefits

Aside from cost, the primary concern of patients requiring oral rehabilitation is appearance, which is totally understandable. Your smile is one of your most important physical assets; it is an intimate reflection of complex emotion! But, in addition to fantastic facial and smile aesthetics, All on 4 Dental Implants enable patients to use their new teeth as they would a full set of natural and healthy teeth. What does this mean for you? Eating and speaking with confidence, of course!

1. All on 4 Dental Implants in Houston: Eating

All on 4 dental implants reap support All on 4 Dental Implantsfor a customized prosthetic dental bridge from the underlying jaw bone, just like your natural teeth. This enables a much stronger and more comfortable bite. Removable dentures on the other hand rely upon the underlying gums for support and the resultant transmission of the forces associated with eating and chewing directly to this soft tissue causes inflammation, tenderness and the development of painful sores. This in turn necessitates a constant investment in products such as anesthetic gels. The discomfort and pain associated with eating has a considerable impact upon a patient’s appetite and can actually result in malnutrition. All on 4 dental implants in Houston enable patients to eat all the foods they like without any pain or discomfort and absolutely no self-consciousness.

2. All on 4 Dental Implants in Houston: Articulation in Speech

You may not be aware of this, but your teeth play an integral role in the way you articulate your words in speech. Even a single tooth can compromise proper articulation and enunciation, so can you imagine how difficult it must be to speak properly when you’re missing most, if not all of your original adult teeth? All on 4 dental implants in Houston provide patients with a brand new set of immediately functional teeth that will enable you to speak clearly and with confidence.

3. All on 4 Dental Implants: Unprecedented Treatment Time

All on 4 Dental Implants HoustonOne of the greatest benefits afforded by All on 4 dental implants is the ability to get a brand new set of teeth in as little as a single day, with a single surgery. Previously, traditional dental implant protocol required edentulous and near-edentulous patients to endure a year and up to a year-and-a-half of consultations, surgeries and recovery periods before they could eat, speak and smile with confidence. All on 4 dental implants in Houston condense that massive and painful journey into a single surgery that affords comprehensive and sophisticated results. This unprecedented treatment time is just one of the reasons that All on 4 dental implants have been heralded a breakthrough in the fields of fixed oral rehabilitation and dental implantology!

This four part article series explores the various benefits and advantages afforded by the All on Four dental implant protocol as compared with traditional tooth replacement techniques and technologies.

Dr. Wayne Brueggen

All on 4 Implants: An Introduction:

There are currently tens of millions of people living without most or all of their original adult teeth; a state referred to as ‘edentulism’. In fact, according to statistics released by the Center All on 4 implantsfor Disease control, the number of edentulous adults in the United States is a staggering 20 million, while another 100 million more have lost between 11 and 15 of their natural teeth to decay and gum disease. The traditional approach to treating edentulism and near-edentulism was to enable patients to be able to eat, speak and smile with a degree of confidence. However, removable dentures, or false teeth as they are colloquially known, go hand-in-hand with a whole suite of challenges and repeated expenses. And these obstacles and struggles can drastically lower one’s self-confidence and overall quality of life. Thankfully, there is a much more sophisticated tooth replacement solution available to patients who are in desperate need of a brand new set of teeth. So what is the comprehensive and long-term solution to multiple missing teeth and rampant tooth loss? All on 4 Implantsin Houston, of course!

What are All on 4 Implants in Houston?

All on 4 implants are specially fabricated dental implants that are able to provide immediate support for a fully customized prosthetic dental bridge. The breakthrough protocol behind their placement enables qualified and experienced implant dentists, All on 4 implants Houstonsuch as Dr. Wayne Brueggen, to give patients a brand new set of immediately functional teeth that are virtually indistinguishable – in feel and appearance – from natural, healthy teeth. Better yet, All on 4 implants in Houston are capable of achieving this in as little as a single day, with a single surgery, and almost always without the need for lengthy, painful and expensive bone grafting surgery beforehand!

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. After all, it is the aim of this four-part article series to investigate in detail the various benefits and advantages offered by All on 4 implants in Houstonover traditional teeth replacement solutions and technologies. In this article, the first installment of the series, we shall perform a brief comparison between the results achieved by All on 4 implants and removable dentures.

All on 4 Implants in Houston and Traditional Partial and Full Removable Dentures

The major advantages All on 4 implants have over removable dentures are that they provide patients with a beautiful set of teeth that are fixed in the mouth; in other words, they are non-removable. They cannot move around and will not fall out, which makes eating, speaking and smiling much easier! Furthermore, All on 4 implants in Houston reap full support from the jawbone and not from the underlying gums, as is the case with dentures. This makes the prosthetic dental bridge affixed to the implants feel like a natural set of teeth, which reduces the sense of self-consciousness edentulous and near-edentulous people tend to experience. The bridge also feels far more comfortable and doesn’t damage or compromise the underlying soft tissues. Other benefits of All on 4 implants include:

  • They do not harbor food and bacteria, which can cause bad breath,
  • They do not impede your ability to taste,
  • They do not trigger the gag reflex,
  • They are cleaned just like natural teeth,
  • They do not incur repeated expenses, such as anesthetic gels, cleaning agents and adhesives.

All in all, All on 4 implants in Houston are vastly more comfortable and beneficial to your long term oral health, self-confidence and quality of life!

The amazing “All on 4” dental implant procedure is becoming the most exciting dental implant technology advancement of the past two decades.  It is a life changing, simple, rapid and economical approach to give patients what they really want from dental implant.  The All on 4 procedure enables the dental implant dentist to provide ‘permanent’ meaning ‘non-removable’ teeth in one day.  The surgery and the insertion of the permanent teeth are completed in just one appointment for the vast majority of qualified cases.

The All on 4 technique uses 4 Nobel BioCare dental implants to support the teeth.  In the vast majority of cases is there no need for the additional expense and complications of bone grafts or sinus lifts.  The procedure enables the patient to experience less discomfort, less swelling, and enjoy a faster healing time that traditional dental implant procedures.  It is also important to note that the procedure is often more affordable.

The most common patient profile is the person who needs teeth removed and wants to avoid even a temporary removable denture.  The entire surgical procedure and insertion of the teeth can be done in a few hours and often with sedation services to provide maximum comfort.

Dr. Kevin Gasser in Arizona provides a full range of dental implants in Arizona including IV Sedation in Arizona, Oral Conscious Sedation in Arizona, sinus lift in Arizona, tooth replacement in Arizona, teeth replacement in Arizona, All on 4 in Arizona, and missing teeth in Arizona.  Dr. Kevin Gasser has devoted his practice to dental implants in Sun City, dental implants in Peoria, dental implants in Scottsdale, dental implants in Surprise, dental implants in Sun City Grand, dental implants in Phoenix, dental implants in Sun City West, dental implants in Glendale, Teeth in a Day dental implants, and All on 4 dental implants. www.drgasser.com

This article, part 2 of 3, explores the advantages of oral rehabilitation with the All-on-4 protocol over traditional teeth replacement technology; removable dentures.
In our previous article post onAll on Four implants, we began a comparison between the teeth replacement solutions provided by this revolutionary procedure and traditional removable dentures or false teeth. Our initial comparison in part 1 focused upon the differences in functionality and patient comfort. In this article, the second of a three-part series, we shall focus upon the differences between the smile aesthetics achieved by the All on Fournon-removable prosthetic dental bridge and removable dentures.
All on Four Implants Versus Removable Dentures: Smile Aesthetics
When you take a look at the customized dental bridge used in the All on Four protocol, the most immediate difference is that it lacks that additional bulk that removable dentures require in order to stabilize them in the mouth. Since the All on Four dental bridge is permanently secured in the mouth using dental implants, flanges – bulky peripheral areas – are not necessary. The flanges, while used to provide stability, actually press on the lips from the inside, making them look thin and stretched. This alone can add years onto a patient’s age. But when it comes to smile aesthetics, it is the unimpeded loss of bone volume in the jaw that really causes removable dentures to be a cosmetic death sentence.
Just like any muscle in the body, bone tissue requires ‘exercise’ or stimulation. The roots of our teeth transmit the mechanical forces associated with chewing, biting and grinding to the jaw bone, stimulating a healthy blood circulation to the tissue, keeping it alive and vital. With tooth loss, comes the loss of this stimulation causing the jaw bone to atrophy and waste away, resulting in that sunken and puckered facial appearance we typically associate with the elderly.
All on Four Protocol: Promoting Jaw Bone Health
All on Four implants don’t just replace the tooth crowns, like removable dentures do; they replace the roots as well, which in turn restores the stimulation necessary to keep the jaw bone alive and healthy. In other words, All on Four implants essentially promote the health of the underlying jaw bone and by preventing atrophy, a patient’s natural and youthful facial contours are preserved. As it was previously mentioned, removable denture do nothing to prevent jaw bone atrophy and it is due to the loss of bone volume in the jaw that bridgework needs to be redone every few years ago. What might have fitted comfortably one year will inevitably become looser and looser, until eventually it requires expensive refitting.
In summary, the All on Four protocol gives patients a teeth replacement solution that is virtually indistinguishable from a full set of natural healthy teeth. Moreover, this solution affords patients a confident smile that is natural in both the short and long term thanks to the preservation of jaw bone health.
All on Four Implants: Stay Tuned…
In the third and final article installment, we shall be looking at the difference between the costs and expenses associated with removable dentures versus that of the All on Four protocol.
