Choice Center, the personal development now has stretched their helping hands to homeless teens.
Their innovative movements and ideas to make the world a better place
to live in is really worth appreciating.
Know what it is all about – Volunteers delivered more than 11,000 items of food, clothing, and
personal hygiene products collected during a 4-hour Giver Game make-a-difference
stretch on Saturday. Giver Game is a volunteer philanthropy project
developed by ChoiceCenter Worldwide University that is the “Amazing
Race” version of charitable giving. The items were collected for Street
Teens which provides education and resources to help kids ages 12 –
21 move off the streets. More than 80% of Las Vegas’ homeless teens
were sexually and/or physically abused over a period of time before
running away. They are aware of the foster care system, but opt to live
on the streets because they see it as a better alternative. They turn
to Street Teens for transitional support and services. To collect the
items, volunteers reached out to friends, family, and local businesses
for support. Proving that it doesn’t take a lot of time or money to
make a difference, only one donation in 4 hours was over $50.
Know how did they manage to help – A Giver Game make-a-difference stretch occurs in a short window
of time, proving that a small group of committed people can make an
extraordinary difference without a lot of time or money.
Know when the event took place – It was on Wednesday, April 14 at 4:30 p.m.

A little background detail
– Giver Game is a volunteer and community support project developed
by ChoiceCenter Worldwide University. Giver Game is a challenge to complete
one act of kindness daily. Every morning, Giver Game participants receive
a make-a-difference stretch assignment that benefits people, animals
or the planet. The giving multiplies when people play in cities all
over the world simultaneously. Once a month, Givers play BIG GIVE SATURDAY
together in support of a larger community project, achieving an outrageous
philanthropy goal in just 4 hours. For additional information about
Giver Game, visit www.givergame.com. Street Teens is a volunteer based,
non-profit organization dedicated to assisting homeless, abandoned,

and by actively collaborating with community partners. Street Teens
